Pictures from the past couple months in LA, DC, Philly, Taipei, and in an airplane flying over Japan. And my new crazy-high Margiela heels. For dressy occasions only.
I feel the same way--but Evan says I should post more. I also have the Charlene Butterbean badge on my blog--and hate the way people think cat lady is a bad term.
I love Charlene Butterbean! I also love it when you share pictures of your cats. Despite all the haters, I really love that the internet is overrun with cats. I can't get enough of it.
Oh! I've been meaning to ask, how do you like your Tocca coat? I'm thinking about getting one now that they're on sale. Does it run as small as the old Lyell ones?
For airplane food, it was delicious. But I think that the food on most Asian airlines tastes better than the food on US airlines...more veggies, fewer things covered in a gross sauce. However, I should note that this is in business class (thanks to my mom's airline retirement benefits), so the presentation is extra nice.
I wish I could have captured the full glory of the boner wagon. Some genius drew boners (different shapes and sizes, in varying um, "stages") on every window of the car!
holy MOLY.... is that.. airplane food??????? blown away! that is like the classiest bento box i've ever seen! maybe asian airplane food is just always better. i flew economy from hong kong and i was pretty impressed by the meals.
YEAH! I was pretty blown away too! I usually fly China Airlines to Asia and the food in coach and business is pretty good. They always serve congee before landing, which I find to be so soothing after a long flight.
Is that the Margiela coat? Very comfy, no? As unstylish as I find Michelle Obama, I must admit that her inauguration gown would do nicely as a wedding dress. Are you done with your stint in DC?
Rachel! It is not the Margiela coat...it's the Isabel Marant Xity coat. But yes, the Margiela coat is so comfy! I love it. I'm done with DC...hooray! My productivity has plummeted since leaving, but I sure am glad not to be commuting anymore.
Oh, and yes, that gown would be the perfect wedding gown!
I have not yet worn the Margiela heels out, but I think I will tonight for my bday dinner! There's a hidden platform in the front, so they're not as ankle-breaking as they may appear.
I miss In n Out! There's a Khmer man here who once worked at one of the branches and came back to Cambodia to set up a similar hamburger joint. Delicious. Your cat picture is so cute.
Wow, no way! That's pretty awesome that there's a good burger joint in Cambodia. It must be comforting to eat there when you're craving some western food!
last winter i went on a hawaiian cruise with my best friend's family. we flew out of la, and honestly, one of the best parts about the whole trip was walking to in-n-out from our hotel next to LAX. sooooo good.
Haha, I think I was at the same in-n-out by LAX. In all honesty, the LAX one is my favorite just because the location is so convenient. Nothing like pigging out right before getting on the plane!
Yeah, they are pony hair! It's what sold them for me! I've never owned any pony hair items before and should probably do some research on how to care for it.
That airplane food looks amazing - did you fly ANA? Now I'm kicking myself for not booking an Asian airline for our trip coming up. Your shoes are amazing and that Celine bag is beautiful!
double double--you're killing me!
ReplyDeleteis your hair different? anyway, it looks great!
oh man, i love in-n-out burger...especially the one right by LAX.
Deleteas for my hair, thanks! i'm always wavering between blunt bangs and side-swept bangs...this is somewhere in between. :)
Love the pictures--especially of your cat.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Moya. I always want to post pictures of my cats, but am afraid that people will think I'm going overboard.

They run a tiny bit bigger than the Lyell coats but not by much. I'd still say you need to size up. But I love mine and highly recommend them.
DeleteI think I'll have to put a cat photo up tonight. I have so many pictures of them it's unreal. But I love them and they are always so photogenic!
Thanks for the info, Moya! I need to research Tocca's return policy, if it's not on final sale, I may order one this week.
Deletethis post is like a catalog of All Good Things in Life. I am amazed at Japanese airplane food. Did it taste as good as it looks?
ReplyDeletei should add, the "Boner Wagon" is subject for debate.

DeleteI miss in n out! I'm heading out west in February, so I can see myself consuming lots I'd yummy fries.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back jennifer!
Thanks, Eunice! Oh man, I sure hope you eat lots and lots of in-n-out when you go out west! Will you be stopping in Portland?

Deletewow! airplane food? shocking! that meat looks pretty tasty too!
ReplyDeleteSeriously shocking! Oh man, don't even get me started on that meat. It was insanely delicious!

ReplyDeleteNope, it's China Airlines! I can't even imagine how nice ANA business class would be!!
